Old Prestwick Golf Packages
Old Prestwick famously is the true birthplace of Open Golf and held the first ever Open Championships dating back from 1860 - 1872. Due to the tight layout of the course, Prestwick lost its place on the Open circuit, as was unable to handle the increasing crowds.
The course itself boasts the tightest fairway and largest bunker in European golf and its hazards and added rough like its classic purple heather, make it a real test, especially with some coastal weather thrown in. Located in close proximity to Glasgow Prestwick Airport, the course enjoys fantastic scenery including views out over the Isle of Arran and Ailsa Craig.
